Admissions Process
We realize that the path to get to us has not been easy and that this next phase of your recovery process is so important to your long term sobriety and health. The first step is to read through our admission criteria. If you meet the criteria, give us a call to get more familiar with our home, program and philosophy. We can go over everything with you, answer all your questions and schedule an arrival time.

Minimum Requirements for Admission
Before applying, please review the following qualifications. All prospective residents must:
1. Successfully Completed a Treatment Program
Applicants must have successfully completed a licensed inpatient or outpatient treatment program for substance use prior to admission.
Approval must come from the referring facility or treatment team, typically initiated by a discharge planner or case manager.
We do not accept residents that have left their facility early or those who have been asked to leave.
2. Committed to Recovery as a Priority
Recovery is our core focus. Residents must be willing and motivated to stay clean and sober, participate in a 12 Step program, and actively adhere to our community standards.
3. Attend 12-Step Meetings Regularly
We require residents to:
- Attend a minimum of 5, 12-step meetings per week.
- Participate in our weekly 12-step study group sessions.
- Participate in a weekly house meeting.
- Be actively working with a sponsor or in the process of finding one.
- Participate in service work
4. Participate in mandatory Random Testing
Residents must agree to:
- Random urinalysis (UA) and breath analysis (BA) tests
- Immediate dismissal may result from refusal to test or positive results.
5. Be Employed or Actively Seeking Work
Residents must either:
- Hold a steady job, or
- Be actively job hunting and demonstrating daily effort toward employment.
We believe that work adds structure, purpose, and accountability, all of which are essential in early recovery.
6. Have Reliable Transportation
Due to our rural location and the responsibilities of daily life (employment, meetings, etc.), residents must have consistent access to a vehicle.
Farm & Community Participation
As part of our unique sober living program, all residents are welcome to participate in farming, caring for animals, and growing fruits and vegetables at our Walua Farm located on our property.
Working on the farm promotes accountability, connection, and hands-on healing — and is a fun way to stay healthy and connect with your environment.
What to Bring
Many of our residents spend three to twelve months with us, so be sure to bring the things you will need for that duration of time. For things you don’t have or don’t remember to bring, shopping is nearby. Here is a list of the essentials:
- A range of clothes for at least a week. We have laundry facilities on property
- Active wear for hiking, swimming, and adventures
- Any pictures or keepsakes that are important to you
- Toiletries and personal items
