Good Nutrition. Meaningful Connection. Independent Living Skills.
At Kona Sober Living, we believe that good nutrition, meaningful connection, independent living skills, and an appreciation for local culture are all important parts of recovery.
That’s why we created our biweekly cooking class with Chef Champ. Together, residents learn how to prepare fresh, locally inspired Hawaiian dishes while building practical cooking skills, confidence, and connection with one another.
What makes the experience even more special is that many of the ingredients come directly from Walua Farms, located right on our property. From farm-fresh eggs to vegetables, herbs, and tropical fruit, residents can experience the entire farm-to-table process—from growing and harvesting food to preparing and enjoying a meal together.
It’s more than a cooking class. It’s about developing healthy habits, learning skills that support independent living, connecting with others, and experiencing the culture and abundance of Hawaiʻi.
